Plum Sauce

By |July 18th, 2015|

Sometimes you have to take time for something good.  This year the Shiro plum tree is breaking branches it is so heavy with fruit. We eat them by the handful as we go about our chores.  If you cook them for plum sauce with the skins on they get bitter.  So, we decided to take the time and get messy.  Blanching, taking the skins off and pits out.  But we know that in January we will be able to open those ruby jars and taste summer again!
